We are proud to celebrate Swire Coca-Cola’s 60th anniversary in Hong Kong alongside the official opening of our new Sparkling PET production line, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability and safety. For six decades, we have proudly manufactured a diverse range of beverages here in Hong Kong, serving over 7.5 million consumers daily.
Our new PET line marks a major step forward:
💡 Fully automated mold change system cuts changeover time from 1 hour to 15 minutes, boosting flexibility and efficiency.
🌍 First in the Southeast Asia, Hong Kong & Taiwan (SEAHKT) region to use the 2622 finish (a smaller cap), reducing plastic use by approx. 52 tons annually.
🌍 Ambient filling technology raising filling temperature from 8°C to 18°C for optimized energy use.
🛡️Zero injuries recorded throughout the line renovation, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to workplace safety.
These innovations advance our 2030 Our Choice Our Future sustainability strategy and align with New Industrialisation principles that emphasize sustainable development across the entire product lifecycle.
